Hidden markups
We separate card-brand costs from the processor's markup so you can see what you are actually paying for.
We negotiate with your existing credit-card processor to lower your processing costs—without forcing you to switch providers, replace equipment, or disrupt your business.

Rate increases, padded markups, and unnecessary fees can hide inside a statement that looks normal. We find the real cost and give your provider a reason to improve it.

Small increases and added charges can quietly inflate your effective rate over time.
New terminals, integrations, contracts, and retraining make switching painful. Our first move is to negotiate where you are.
You keep running your business. We handle the statement analysis and the negotiation.
We review your pricing model, markup, transaction mix, and avoidable fees.
We identify the realistic opportunity and explain the headline savings in plain English.
If you want us to proceed, a simple one-page agreement allows us to negotiate on your behalf.
We push for a written rate agreement, addendum, revised fee schedule, or other written confirmation.
Our one-time success fee equals 100% of your projected average monthly savings. Your actual savings may be higher or lower from month to month, and you keep all ongoing savings after that.
You pay only after your provider puts the reduced rates in writing. Our one-time fee equals 100% of your projected average monthly savings, calculated from representative processing statements. Actual savings can be higher or lower each month as your sales and transaction mix change.
Rate Rescue was founded by Adrian Musial following more than a decade of experience in the North American merchant-services industry and tens of thousands of processing-statement reviews.
That experience revealed a recurring problem: even when processors claimed to be saving merchants money, significant additional savings were often still being left on the table. Over time, rates and added fees could also quietly increase, gradually eroding the savings merchants were originally promised.
Rate Rescue was created to give businesses across Canada and the United States a different option. Instead of immediately asking merchants to switch processors, we analyze their current pricing and negotiate with their existing provider first.
Our experience has helped thousands of businesses better understand their processing costs and identify opportunities to save. We understand how processors structure their pricing, where unnecessary costs may be hiding, and how to push for more competitive terms.
Experienced merchant advocacy, a provider-first negotiation strategy, and pricing built around measurable results.
Rate Rescue is an independent merchant-processing cost consultant. Our job is to examine your current pricing, identify unnecessary costs, and advocate for your business—not your processor.
Our first approach is to negotiate with your existing provider. That means you may be able to lower your costs without changing equipment, rebuilding integrations, retraining employees, or signing with a new processing company.
We understand the processing models, statement structures, fees, and sales practices commonly used throughout both the Canadian and U.S. merchant-services markets.
You pay Rate Rescue only after your processor agrees to reduced pricing in writing. If we cannot secure a reduction, you owe us nothing.
Tell us a little about your business and attach 2–3 recent processing statements. We'll review them and contact you about any savings opportunity we find.

Merchant-processing statements generally do not show full customer card numbers. They primarily show your card mix, processing volume, pricing model, processor markup, and added fees. If you prefer, black out your business name, address, and merchant ID before uploading. Once those details are removed, the remaining pages are essentially the pricing and transaction data we need for the review.
